We've revisited some of our most iconic classics with targeted choices on the materials we use. Featuring a 100% organic cotton canvas upper, the Authentic VR3s feature a VR3Cush™ biosourced foam footbed for pleasing comfort and the new VR3Waffle™ outsole, made from responsibly sourced natural rubber retaining the grip and toughness that Vans has been known for since 1966. Our team has set ambitious sustainability goals. All our efforts, big or small, can have a positive impact. To obtain the VR3 Checkerboard globe logo, at least 30% of the product must be made from recycled, renewable and/or regenerative materials.

• MATERIALS UMBRELLA: 100% organic cotton canvas.
• FOOTBED: the VR3Cush™ footbed is made with at least 25% biosourced EVA foam partially derived from plants, in accordance with the ASTM D6866-16 test standard.
• OUTDOOR SOLE: the VR3Waffle™ outsole is made from an exclusive compound containing at least 25% responsibly sourced natural rubber from sources applying proven sustainable practices with the aim of reducing impacts on the planet. This new rubber compound has been developed and engineered to retain the grip and toughness that Vans has been known for since 1966.
